Overview

Splyt Streams ("the app") is a personal project that lets you watch multiple Twitch channels in one page. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Information we collect

The app does not run its own user accounts and does not ask you to sign in to Splyt Streams itself.

• Browser storage:Your channel list and layout order are saved in your browser's localStorage on your device. This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers.
• Twitch embeds:When you watch streams, Twitch's embedded player may collect and process information according to Twitch's Privacy Notice. That includes actions you take in the player, such as logging in, following a channel, or granting storage access.

Information we do not collect

We do not intentionally collect your name, email, passwords, payment information, or viewing history on a server operated by this app. If Twitch API features are added in the future, this policy will be updated to describe any additional data handled by the app.

How we use information

Locally saved channel preferences are used only to restore your grid when you return to the app. We do not sell personal information.

Third-party services

Twitch is a third-party service. Your use of Twitch streams and features inside embeds is governed by Twitch's policies. This app is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Twitch.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. Twitch's own age and account rules apply when using Twitch features.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
